This website has been created and is maintained in the framework of diverse support actions, coordinated by Sigma Orionis and funded by the Directorate General Information Society and Media of the European Commission as part of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.

It is updated and maintained in close liaison with the International Relations Unit of DG Infso with the objective of providing European and Asian organisations interested in the development of R&D cooperation projects in the ICT area with relevant background information and useful links.
